Key card access systems replace traditional keys and offer a cost-effective, secure access control system for small businesses, office buildings, hotels and industrial sites, allowing companies to provide only authorised users with access to their premises.
The reliable and robust key card locks use magnetic strip key card reader technology; they have an emergency key override feature with full audit accountability for efficiency and security. The key card is a flat, rectangular plastic card similar to a credit card, which stores data securely on an embedded magnetised strip that electronically unlocks the door.

Detect offer a range of stand-alone and PC programmable key card systems for a single door or buildings with multiple doors. We also offer systems that network with your PC, to give you greater security and control over building access.
A key card may also be used to provide different levels of security, allowing an organisation to restrict access to parts or floors of a building or to vulnerable or sensitive areas, without having to issue large numbers of keys.
Key card systems can be installed on external front, back or side doors, or internal doors within the building.
Key card systems are simple yet highly effective; they work in real time and each card is programmed to a specific door or group of doors, with the amount of time you want the card to remain active or live. They can even be set to only allow access at certain times, ideal for securing a building at night, or preventing access to certain facilities outside of the main working hours.
All key card systems from Detect are supplied and installed to NSi NACP30 standard.
