Detect Ltd have been providing to Sigma-Aldrich at their Gillingham site fire solutions and ongoing service/maintenance since 2006.
Due to the nature of the products that this world leading company manufacture and store, the highest level of fire safety systems are employed to ensure that at a very early stage any fire outbreak is quickly reported and acted upon.
In January 2009 Detect were proud to have secured an order for the fire detection element of a sizable foam suppression system to be installed within 2 large warehouses protecting the storage facilities at Sigma-Aldrich. This is considered to the first of its kind for this application in the UK.
