Just a note to make you aware of how impressed I was by one of your guys recently.
On Friday 26 August, late afternoon, yes right at the start of the August Bank Holiday weekend we had a problem with our access control to one of our storage buildings. I think it was Rob who attended the callout, and the job was made all the more urgent because I had discovered that a key had at sometime been broken off in the lock that one could use to gain access manually should the power fail or a fault occur. With the access control on ‘fail secure’ we thus had no means of gaining access to our secure self store!
I won’t tell you exactly what was involved in the solution that Rob and I came up with, but ingenuity and inventiveness were definitely required and he didn’t shirk from the task! Having established that a new card reader was needed and that would mean waiting until Tuesday to obtain one, we then needed to find a way of gaining entry over the weekend in order that I could let in customers.
By the time he had sorted this out, most of his mates were enjoying the start of a long weekend off, but he couldn’t have been more helpful and determined to leave me with a workable solution. He’s a credit to Detect.
