Kuoni (www.kuoni.co.uk) was established in 1906 in Switzerland by Alfred Kuoni, a visionary adventurer and explorer of his time who opened some of Europe’s first travel agencies.
The company has more than 170 awards to its name including top position of a ‘Which?’ Recommended Provider survey, achieved due to the company’s reliability and ‘excellent customer care’.
As well as selling luxury worldwide holidays online, by phone and through a network of quality independent travel agents throughout the UK, Kuoni also has its own network of 22 exclusive travel stores across the UK and six Kuoni Partnership Stores which can be found in John Lewis department stores.
Our Sales Manager, Joe Goddard, approached the business to discuss the procurement of services. Kuoni were employing several service providers for their Fire Alarm systems, Fire Extinguishers, Intruder and CCTV systems. The services ran independently of one another and the administration of these individual agreements were difficult to manage.
Joe was able to offer Kuoni the Detect Way; relieving them of the negative impact of the time spent dealing with several companies, with each discipline having to be serviced independently at different times and several invoices to be administered along with differing paperwork.
One appointment to deploy a fully qualified, experienced and professional engineer, who was able to cover more than one discipline upon attendance.

This immediately reduced the time Kuoni spent managing their Fire and Security contracts, instantly providing a return on their investment.
The relationship with Kuoni has gone from strength to strength with Detect having recently completed the installation of new Fire and Security Systems at their Brighton Store.
